I’ve heard plenty of excuses for not starting a blog.

And I’ve also heard plenty of rules as to how to create a blog correctly.

None of it matters if you don’t ever commit to starting.

And when you start, don’t stop.

Ever.

You don’t have to follow anyone else’s rules or advice.

You can ignore what you are reading this very moment.

I encourage you to break the rules.

There are a few suggestions however:

Write at least once a week.

Maybe two or three times a week.

Or every day, like me.

(I actually write in spurts and schedule my writing to appear once a day.)

7 posts a week is comfortable for me, considering a couple years ago I was posting nearly 50 times a week.

One more suggestion for today:

Don’t worry about perfection.  Just write and write some more.

Be yourself, and you’ll actually create the perfect blog about you.

Sounds simple enough.
