A Slinky Saturday (video)

Last weekend was an industrious one. A bunch of running around, cleaning out the attic, giving stuff away and then there was a moment when I decided to turn on the laptop, open a browser and used StumbleUpon to discover some new stuff.

That’s when it hit me.

Of all the things that I want to do, never once have I had the desire to video tape a Slinky on a treadmill.

It has never entered my mind, even though my parents had a treadmill growing up that they use religiously the way most treadmills are used, as a clothes rack.

This spring as I was helping my sister in law move, and in her collection of cherished possessions was another treadmill…again it never crossed my mind to video tape a slinky on a treadmill.

I’ve even owned slinkies.

But, I think I have the answer now…

Never once have I ever had a slinky in my hands when I was near an operational treadmill.

If you have ever had this desire, let me spare you.

It has already been done.
