What are you doing to promote your community?

A few years ago, I wanted to promote the local blogging community and found around 30 local blog sites and promoted them one at a time on my website.

After a few weeks, I had requests from others to promote their web sites and so after careful consideration I made the commitment to feature a Fort Wayne site of the day.

I did this 7 days a week for over two straight years, then cut back to 5 days a week.

In April 2012, I handed over the reigns to a friend and set up a new site which now has viewed over 9,000 times.

In 2013 it was decided to feature a Fort Wayne site of the week to give more value to each of the 52 sites selected.

It looks like I will be actively involved again with this project which is simply a way to show some love and support to others in Fort Wayne, my city and my community.
