70 to 90 percent of the questions asked all have the same answer:

They want to make money.

Why does a company exist?

Why does a person want a job?

Why does the wait staff treat you  nicely?

Why does Facebook and Google and your email provider collect all your data and us it to serve advertising that is based on what they know about you?

Why is a cheeseburger $3.00 instead of 30 cents?

And here’s one to raise eyebrows:  Why do they take an offering at church?

They want to make money.

Money is the standard used to purchase or pay for other things.

Look at the last example.

The church has bills to pay too, salaries, utilities, supplies, etc.

In all of the examples:

Profits are needed to cover the bills and provide a little extra.

That little extra includes giving to charity and others that are never recorded on a tax form.

Money is neither bad or good.  It’s just a part of life.
