It began about 13 months ago.

I started the planning and writing for another blog due to requests from folks who wanted to know more about what I had done with Social Media.

So in January of this year, I started publishing 5 days a week ScLoHo’s Social Media Adventure which was my 5th active blog.

For someone who worked in the radio business I was dong an awful lot of non-radio stuff.

Over 40 blog posts a week spread over all 5 ScLoHo blogs.

3 months ago, I transformed those 5 separate blogs into one website and cut back the number of updates to 25.

Yet as we move forward into the new year, you will see a different layout for this website.

I mentioned this Monday, but a lot of you took the day off after Christmas.

So here’s what I will be doing:

The Fort Wayne Site of the Day will be updated at 6am daily.

The Sales Tip will be updated at 8am daily.

Collective Wisdom will be updated at 10am daily.

At noon, instead of ScLoHo’s Social Media Adventure, I will simply have ScLoHo’s Web World.

Why?

I noticed this several months ago, but it has become more and more apparent since I left the radio business and joined the internet marketing business fulltime this past summer that there is a tremendous amount of crossover and  melding of social media and the rest of our web world, thus, the new title and focus.

In the afternoon I will occasionally feature stuff of a more personal nature, under the category ScLoHo Really?.  That could be fun, funny, serious, or just plain weird, but it will not be an everyday feature either.

So as we say bye-bye 2011 and welcome in 2012, I’ll be back on Monday with a brand new look at ScottHoward.me
