First off:

I moved my young and growing family to Metro Detroit in 1986 and we left in 1993.

It’s been more than a dozen years since I’ve been back.

I am planning a trip in 2012 and looking to wrap it around a few business meetings.

 

Next:

In Fort Wayne we had a major fire that began about 11:30 on Sunday October 30th that required 30 hours of Firefighters attention.

Halloween weekend in Detroit includes Devils Night, where the city set’s itself on fire.   A stupid and dangerous tradition.
