Picking the Best Social Media Platform

Google+, YouTube, FaceBook,, Twitter and more are out there.

But which one is the best?

That’s like asking which is the best car?

You have to answer, it depends.

Which brings us to the 2012 version of the CMO’s Guide to the Social Landscape on CMO.com

14 different platforms are listed with pros and cons under the headings of:

  1. Customer communication
  2. Brand exposure
  3. Traffic to your site
  4. SEO

While there are a few platforms I wish they included, this interactive guide is a good start.

You can check it out at their site at http://www.cmo.com/social-media-guide/2012/
